Background
Salinas Lacrosse Club is an affiliate of the Lacrosse The Bay foundation. Its a youth lacrosse club based out of Salinas CA. They host practices and games for both boys and girls, ages from 10-14. Remaining on theme with how LTB uses mascots that are local wildlife, the Salinas mascot is a CA Condor.

When designing the Salinas logo I was working with the condor mascot. I had done a badge icon for the Salinas team in the past that was much more of a classic icon. However after further developing the LTB brand, they approached me about doing a re-design.

Logo Delivery
For the new logo delivery, my client wanted to re-develop the team mascot to be more playful. Originally they wanted a classic badge looking logo for the team. After further developing the Lacrosse The Bay brand, the old team logo no longer worked with in the perimeters of the image we were creating.
